We call it The SAW Method.
Because exploding with confidence isn’t about getting it right; it’s about being Strong And Wrong.
The best way to access who you are in a new language is by embodying your true self as strongly as possible. Even if you’re grammatically wrong.
With us, you play.
It’s a safe space to flow through unexpected situations for 60 minutes straight.
The Boom Room is the place to get over your embarrassment and your self-doubt.
You’ll practice how to access your gut and your quick thinking in a relaxed state. You’ll get comfortable making mistakes and speaking confidently with the words you know. Then, when it comes to reacting and responding in the real world, you’ll be ready.
Practice won’t make perfect
But it will foster willingness. And that’s what you need to grow.
When we first moved to a new country our self-doubt sounded like, “If I can’t say it perfectly, then I shouldn’t say it at all.” And guess what happened. We didn’t say anything.
But this need to be “right” only keeps us in our thoughts. The willingness to boldly do something even if it’s wrong is what gets us into our bodies and into the present moment.
That’s precisely why we adopted the mantra Strong And Wrong. Trust us when we say it’s better to be loud and incorrect than quiet and afraid. Plus it’s much more fun.
